The voters have wisely chosen Barb to continue representing them for two more years — in her bi-partisan manner, with honesty and integrity. It's because of your support and dedication that we won by over 53% of the vote!

However, this seat remains very competitive because the voter registration is skewed towards a Republican majority. We expect Barb will be challenged for this seat in 2010 by institutional contributors and big business who support a different agenda.

Nonetheless, our effort remains grassroots — funded by many small donations from regular citizens and supporters, just like you. Your continued contribution is vital to re-electing Barbara McIlvaine Smith in 2010.
