In a letter to House leadership this week, Rep. Curt Schroder (R-East Brandywine) and a bipartisan group of 22 other House members requested a 20 percent reduction in the Legislature’s 2008-09 budget. Schroder said the line item, which covers the operational costs of the Legislature, amounts to a taxpayer savings of about $66 million. Read more...
